Russell's Museum Adventure

We took Russell to the Children's Discovery Museum yesterday and had a good time. After Chad was all wet from making giant bubbles, we started thinking we were there more for us than for Russell, but we all enjoyed ourselves. Natalie got good at making giant bubbles that other kids would try to pop. Russell and Chad crawled into this weird box thing. We learned all about the bodily functions in the Grossology exhibit. Russell liked listening to Dr. Nose-alot.

Chad also preformed his first unassisted surgery!

The greater Las Vegas area has an Excessive Heat Advisory for the next while, so we continue to explore the world from the comfort of Air conditioned buildings.
Chad is working on this name plaque for Russell and it is a work in progress.

Cute Boy!

Chad always says that I never put any pictures on of myself. So here is me! And of course a happy Russell.

We are not up to much, we are just going from day to day.
Chad is driving a ton to get to his rotation clear across the valley, but he is learning lots.
Russell and I are just trying to stay out of trouble at home. :)

Bad Habits!

Ok here is a quick story for you, while Russell is sleeping.
On Monday Chad decided to clean the turtle tank, it had gotten really really dirty. He got everything all clean, and was ready to fill the tank back up. (Chad empties the whole tank when he cleans it) He has a fancy hose that he runs outside, so no bucketing water.
Anyway he decided to fill the tank by reversing the flow on the hose because the water coming from the tap was warm enough. So he starts to fill it, and I sit down to feed Russell. Chad leaves the room to do who knows what. Russell finishes eating and I sit him up and start to make faces at him, all of the sudden I hear the strangest noise, like splashing water. I look up and the tank is running over on to the movies, my scout stuff, and Chads stereo. I yelled for Chad as I throw Russell's burb rags at the tank.
We got it all cleaned up and laughed about it, while we did it.

But the reason I tittled this story Bad Habits is because my family has a pond and my Dad and my sister have left the hose in the pond on too long and have flooded a room or two in the basement. This has happened several times, the last time this happened was a month or so ago, and Chad was giving my sister a bad time about not watching it. So I found it funny that it came around to him. Ha ha ha.

I think that I got the biggest kick out of all of this! By the way the tank looks GREAT now! :)
