Firsts!

Ok so a couple of things, We just got back today from Russells first camping trip! We went to Loveall Canyon. He did really well, he was a little scared of the rain fly as Chad was putting it on, and did not want to go to bed when we were ready. But really he did great! 

Also this was Chad's first time getting to "play" with his birthday gift, the TENT! He was so excited to finally set it up. It is too big to set up in our living room, so I made him wait. It was a pretty amazing tent. It is over 6 feet high in the middle of it and we had a queen air mattress in it as well as Russells pack-and-play and we still had enough room for another queen mattress. It is HUGE. I loved it!

Another first, Russell Rolled over for the first time twice yesterday!!! He went from his back to his stomach. He did not even get scared because he did it on purpose. He was trying to eat the blanket. He still has not got the stomach to back but he will soon I am sure. It was just so funny when he did it because he acted like he had done it a hundred times.
Ok, So Russell has been taking his hands and interlocking the fingers, he does it all by himself and all the time. Mostly when he sees something he likes, and when he wants to suck on both hands at the same time. That way they both can be in his mouth. Funny hu?

Hiking!

Well, we went for an after-Chad's-test hike! We went up to Mount Charlston, up Fletcher canyon trail. The Larsons went with us as well as the Karrens. So we were a bergade of  adults with babies. It was very funny how everyone we passed smiled really big and some even made funny comments like, "Triplets?!" or "Starting them early." We had a great time as you can see; we stopped for lunch and enjoyed some good sliding down rocks. What more could you ask for?

Little Buddies!

So we had the Burnetts over one evening, and we got to have Russell and Owen next to each other. These pictures show that if you have tall parents you will have tall children, and short parents give  you short and sweet children. 

Mind you Owen is three weeks younger than Russell. It is too bad Russell would not un-curl for the picture. 

I love this first picture, both Dads are trying to get their respective son's attention, and they are looking at each other. It is so cute!

Chad is really good at getting Russell to sleep, the problem is that this is how he is holding him when he falls asleep, so he can never lay him down with out waking him. But aren't they cute?

Adventures!

We have been asked by so many people if we have a blog, so we decided we should get with the program and put one together, so we can stay in touch especially with our dear friends that move away.

We are not up to much, we are just hanging around while Chad studies for his Board Exam that is just a few short weeks away. He is studding at home so Russell and I have to try and be as quiet as possible. Have you ever tried to tell and keep a three month old quiet? Not easy!

All is well and we are having fun doing what we do!
