Pennies!!

Yesterday Russell came to me when I was getting ready, and said, "I have pennies in my toes!" I had no idea what he was talking about when I looked down he lifted his foot and this is what I saw. He was so proud of himself, he sat there and waited for me to get the camera. You can also see he is hanging on for dear life.

We made root beer in the bathtub. After these pictures we moved it outside. The kids really liked it. It was just too bad the stuff tasted horrible!
She is going well on to 8 months now, but isn't she she cute?
One of Autumn's favorite things to do is pull on Chad's ears, and she really does try to pull them off, Chad is a good sport!
We are already playing Halloween dress-up. Autumn is going to be a Butterfly if you ask Russell.
And he of course is going to be a Dragon! We let him put it on when we first got it, and he asks to wear it all the time. But we are making him wait till Halloween, so he will have a costume still one piece.

Well that is what Russell said then Autumn cam over and this is what I got. But you can see that they both got a good bruise each yesterday. Autumn face planted in the kitchen and Russell had a collision with the bathtub. Ouch!Bet you did not know it got so hot in SD? Even hotter than Henderson, Well I guess we better move the outdoor reader out of the sun. :)
Some Friends came and stayed a night and then the next day we (minus Chad who had to work) went to the Rushmore cave, We got in with a really good deal!
Russell was having such a good time with his new friends, but the cave was boring I guess. He so out.

Last Saturday it was so foggy here when we woke up, this is pretty much all we could see looking out our front window. There is supposed to be a building there and a road.

We went for a little out door adventure a couple of weeks ago, Russell loves to just get out somewhere and RUN!
Autumn wanted the grass.
One of Russell's passions in life right now is to "throw rocks into water" So we always have to stop whenever there is a chance for that.

Monster Trucks and More!

Everything lately is a monster truck, all of his cars, his little yellow bus, sometimes his animals, even his sister has been a monster truck. And what should move into our area but... He is in heaven, he gets so excited to go see it. He asks to go look at it in the mornings to see if it is still there.On Labor Day Chad took the day off and we went to Custer state park and hiked Harney Peak, this is Sylvan Lake. It was very pretty and it was fun to get out.
We got there and realized neither one of us got Russell's hat. So he got sunscreen on the top of his head too! He did not love that at all, but we all survived!

Nana Fowers made this little apron dress for Autumn, it is too cute!
Unfortunately I feel bad because it is the first dress she has worn and she kept getting so frustrated she kept getting caught up in it as she was CRAWLING! Yep, she is moving everywhere, and not just a worm crawl, she is a pro, wherever she wants to go is hers to be had.

Russell was jumping on Dad, and then decided to do a somersault.
Something not belong? One day we were playing and Russell jumped up and ran away, when he came back I asked were he went, he said that Nemo was hot and that he needed to get cold. I looked at him not understanding what that was supposed to mean, we kept playing later I found Nemo, and called Russell and asked why he was in the fridge. He said he was getting cold. I told him that he was cold enough and asked him to take him out. He did and then he went and got one of his cars and said it needed to get cold, I had to tell him that only food goes in there at this point.

This is old, but cute. She has started to crawl. So this is really old.

Having Fun!

The tallest tower being destroyed, It was Great!Uhhhhhh,....
Autumn is 6 months! I can hardly believe it! She is doing great, she is trying so hard to crawl, the poor thing keeps ending up on her face.
I got to make my own Birthday cake, I had fun! I have been really wanting to try to make fondant, but have had no reason to do it, I finally did. It was not perfect, but it was my first time.
Then I had extra of everything so I made another cake and made Chad take it to work.

When there is not a lot of time.

When you don't have a lot of time you pack the time you have got to the max! On Chad's one day off we went and saw dinos, reptiles, had a BBQ, went swimming, got ice cream and still made it to bed by 10:00pm.

On Sunday I took a few more pictures, they did not go very well, Autumn was tired and Russell well he was not tired, just a bit silly.















The Reptile gardens here are a great go to place for me, I take the kids at least once a week if not twice, and Dad got to come this time! The little gator that Russell is petting is Fluffy! Friday night after work Dad set up the tent in the living room and the boys went living room camping, and had a blast, but before they did they both got hair cuts! There is a dinosaur park up on one of the hills here, they are supposed to be life size, but what you see is what you get, not really that cool. But Russell still enjoyed and kept saying, "more dinosaur's!"
