 Pile on Dad

 I took pictures of Autumn on Sunday, I want to get some updated pictures of them, but Russell will have to wait, he was not feeling well, so just Autumn for today, maybe next week for him and them together.

July Fun

On the 4th we got to go boating with Grandma and Papa and then we went to a BBQ and I had fun and made this cake. Inside it was tri-colord too. 

 We made little oceans or fish tanks. I got some foam sheets and cut some fish out and then we put some hair gel into a ziplock and then put the fish in and they could make the fish "swim"

 It may look like Autumn is just pushing the truck backwards, but she is actually giving her rice crispy treat a ride.

 Russell loves to climb this tree, he just scampers right up to this spot and hangs out there.

 Got to love big swings.

 Russell loves his cousins, these two were together the whole night.

 One day when Chad got home from work, Russell said that he wanted to get in the pool, and then he corrected and said that Dad had to get in too! So he did.

The Zoo

When we were in Utah we went to the zoo. We got to see lots of animals, Russell really like the Elephants, but they were all girls and he held that against them. 

 Autumn really liked the otters and everything that was in water.

 There is a polar bear in this picture.

 They both thought that the giraffes were amazing! Autumn squatted on the floor and looked up at them, I don't think she wanted them to feel intimidated by her size.

 Russell was sad that there were no lions, but the tigers were ok.

 I think that this rotating black ball that had water going over it was their favorite part. Silly kids.

Utah trip

We went to Utah to visit Dad and while we were waiting for him to get off work when we first got there, we walked around the conference center and then made our way to the Church History Museum. 

 Russell was upset that I would not let him climb the wagon, and Autumn was mad that I would not let her crawl under it, there were rocks and some dirt under there that she really wanted.

 Both kids were so excited to see Dad.

 The next day Chad had the day off and cousin Melissa got mairried so we went to the wedding and waited for the group picture and the kids were so tired, it was way past nap time.

 Russell said that he loved going to the temple and playing with friends and seeing Grandma.

We made it

So the last couple of days in Rapid City were crazy wild and super busy. Chad still had to do some work and he went to a casting clinic and loved it and they had some extra stuff that they were just going to toss, so Chad brought it home and casted Russell and Autumn. They thought it was so great. I just hope that that is the only time they will have a cast on, when they are playing with Dad. Because after a few min. they were both pulling at them to come off. 

 

 Russell called this his "car" he and Autumn were driving.

 This was Chad's Birthday Cake had it on his actual birthday, and the missionaries even stopped by at the right time and we asked them to join us.

 We had to say buy to the dinosaur park. Do you see Russell on top of the dino?

 We made the long drive and it really went quite well, very minor things happened. We have been in our new place for just over two weeks, and most of the boxes have been unpacked and put out of sight. We went and got this pool, Chad wanted one that was big enough that he could get in too. Big Lots is great. This is how they like to play, Russell in Autumn out water everywhere.

 I just did this little creation this week, it was my sister-in-laws birthday, this is what I came up with.

 It was raining outside and they wanted to look out the window, I think that they like there new home.

Entertainment

Russell and Autumn last Sunday before church wanted a drink they enjoyed the small plastic cups.

 Russell said, "Mom take my picture!"

 We blew up some balloons for Chad's birthday, and Russell said that they were his wings, he was "flying" off the couch.

 Autumn thought it was better to watch him, and hold her doll.

 Curls too cute! People still ask me where she gets the curls, when my hair IS curly!

 Chad turns 31 this coming Sunday, and I thought that it was so cool that his kids age is his. Russell is 3 and Autumn is 1. How often does that happen? So Cool!

 Chad finished early on Monday he worked the night shift so after the kids nap, we went for a little adventure, to get out.

 Russell stopped and said that he needed to climb this "mountain" he was determined, he fell three times and has some nice scratches on his tummy, but he kept going. He wanted to do it all by himself! Big boy.

 Autumn walked almost the whole thing. Russell ran the whole thing.

 We took the above family picture setting the camera on a old stump, so every stump we came across after that Russell would run up to and say that it was a good place for a picture, so he sat on lots of stumps and I took lots of pictures.

 As a general rule I don't post pictures of myself, but if you notice in this one the little followers that have attached them self's to us?

 They followed us (ME) all the way to the car, Chad told me to get close to them so he could get a good picture, this is me saying,"Take the PICTURE!" Back in high school time of life, we had some ducks,  and I would come home from work, and they would hear me coming and would ATTACK me I don't know why ducks like me, but I think that they belong on the other side of a fence from me.

 Russell calls them his friends.
