Dancer and Turtle

We have not been up to much, but a couple of weeks ago we got Autumn signed up for a dance class. Here is her in her uniform/ or what ever it is called. She really loves going it is once a week and she gets very excited.
Because Autumn got a new outfit, Russell got to get this too cool ninja turtle shirt. He wears it the day after I do laundry, every time!
This is what I saw when I told the kids to go put their shoes on to go to church last week. They held hands all the way down the stairs. It gave me just enough time to get the camera.

Fellowship!

For those that aren't aware, Chad has spent considerable time working with sports teams and the athletes. He has found true passion in Sports Medicine. He loves the atmosphere and patient population and the other physicians that he gets to work with.  Today was "Match" day. We are excited to announce that we will be moving after graduation from Residency, so Chad can complete a one year fellowship in Sports Medicine, to Provo working with the BYU and the UVU teams!

We are so excited and look forward to the next chapter in our lives! (PS. The family BYU attire will be coming shortly.)

Candy Cane please

We went to our ward Christmas party a couple of weeks ago and the kids got to sit on Santa's lap and they both actually did it. But what is cute and funny is Autumn got on his lap and when she was done he handed her a candy cane like he had done with all the other kids before her and she ran to us happy. We asked her what she had asked Santa for she said,  "I asked him for a Candy Cane!" As she proudly held up her blue candy cane. She was one super happy girl.

Russell and Autumn got all dressed up and danced around the house like this one day. I just laughed.

Turtle, Princess and More

Here are some crafts that we have done in the last week or so, And the big window monsters are for the trunk or treat, It will be nice not having them take up the front window, the kids can't see out unless I move them.

The ghost was not as fun of a craft for the kids as I thought it would be, but it turned out really cool. And they like it.
This is what the monsters look like through the window when it starts to get dark.
We carved pumpkins on Sunday and we all had fun getting slimy, they both did a really good job.
We had a little Halloween party last night, they were so excited to dress up.

Leaves!

All the leaves have changed and and are mostly all over the ground now, but when they were still changing and all over we took some pictures and have had a great time.

I took the kids to the church and let them play in the leaves all over the parking lot then let them ride their bikes. We need the space there because we took off Russell's training wheels and he needs the flat and space that we don't have at our house.

Them Bones!

I found this skeleton on Pintrest and put it together today and I think that we are going to have fun with him. It is supposed to be the size of the average toddler.

September

This is our poor garden over flowing with one of the several flash floods that Pocatello had the pleasure of seeing this month. There was nothing to do but watch.

We are surprised that we really did not lose anything, we got quite a bit more dirt but everything survived. We have even enjoyed several of the watermelons that we grew and the pumpkins are looking great!
We went to Pack-Saddle lake at the beginning of the month. This was Russell after the first cast, Chad was walking away to go get his poll ready and Russell starts yelling, "I got you fishy, I got you!" He sure did.
Yes it was cold but that did not keep Chad from going in to the water off of the rope swing.
And the kids also had to take advantage of the body of water.
We also had the opportunity to spend a couple of weeks in Boise, we had a wild time. I took the kids to the Aquarium one day and forgot my camera, we walked to the old train depot and spent an hour wasting time till it opened so we could see inside.
We also went fishing in the river, it quickly turned in to, Mom can we take off our shoes and socks and get our feet wet? Well that is how it started and by the time we needed to get going I was the only one that was not soaked. Russell and Autumn got to be stripped down in order to get in the truck.
Back home again, we have been trying to keep busy. I was making dinner one day and I turn around the corner to see what they were laughing at, only to find that the slinky would no longer perform as it once had. Yes that is a slinky in the air. Now it is in the garbage.

Here are a couple of more productive things we have made a few crafts this week. Alligator and dog with moving parts and a fish that can swim.
