Green Eggs

I was fixing Autumn's hair one day this week and got a bit carried away, I realized I was late for a visiting teaching appointment so she ended up with the three piggies at the end, I was going to braid them and then loop them up or something. 

That night one of the stories was green eggs and ham and Russell was adamant that he needed Green Eggs for breakfast the next morning. So I make him green scrambled eggs. He took a couple of bites and said that it was so good then he  put his fork down and said that they tasted really different and he was not going to eat green eggs any more. Autumn only tasted a an ant portion. And then Chad has been wanting to get a picture of all of us in our BYU shirts. He is just in his tie, for now. We are excited!

Russell is 5

We had a wild birthday party for Russell last week. We did a space party! Now we have a 5 and a 3 year old. We made this rocket out of a big box and the kids all had a blast in it. 

 These are the "panels" that were in the rocket.

Here is the "space station" the kids loved crawling through it. They all had a glow stick around their neck .

We shot aliens with marshmallow shooters. 

Autumn is 3

Sunday Autumn turned 3! She really wanted an Arial Birthday cake. She had her complaints about it. But there it is. We went to church came home had lunch and had one family come over and they had cake and ice cream with us. When they left we had her open presents and she made a haul. We played some games together and had a nice Sunday birthday for her. 

Outside fun

Before this week we have spent a ton of time playing outside. With out snow and the temps being around 45 with the sun shining we were playing on the hill, going for hikes, riding the little bikes in and out of the garage and down the sidewalk. 

 They found this hat a while ago and they asked me if I would take a picture of their bears with it on. So I did.

 I made some cookies and Russell wanted to frost his own. And then put every type of sprinkle I had on it.

Dancer and Turtle

We have not been up to much, but a couple of weeks ago we got Autumn signed up for a dance class. Here is her in her uniform/ or what ever it is called. She really loves going it is once a week and she gets very excited.

 Because Autumn got a new outfit, Russell got to get this too cool ninja turtle shirt. He wears it the day after I do laundry, every time!

This is what I saw when I told the kids to go put their shoes on to go to church last week. They held hands all the way down the stairs. It gave me just enough time to get the camera. 

Fellowship!

For those that aren't aware, Chad has spent considerable time working with sports teams and the athletes. He has found true passion in Sports Medicine. He loves the atmosphere and patient population and the other physicians that he gets to work with.  Today was "Match" day. We are excited to announce that we will be moving after graduation from Residency, so Chad can complete a one year fellowship in Sports Medicine, to Provo working with the BYU and the UVU teams! 

We are so excited and look forward to the next chapter in our lives! (PS. The family BYU attire will be coming shortly.) 

Candy Cane please

We went to our ward Christmas party a couple of weeks ago and the kids got to sit on Santa's lap and they both actually did it. But what is cute and funny is Autumn got on his lap and when she was done he handed her a candy cane like he had done with all the other kids before her and she ran to us happy. We asked her what she had asked Santa for she said,  "I asked him for a Candy Cane!" As she proudly held up her blue candy cane. She was one super happy girl. 

Russell and Autumn got all dressed up and danced around the house like this one day. I just laughed.
