Autumn is 2

We had a wild crazy day, we went and did a build and grow, went to a cave, and went swimming and then ended the day with a spaghetti dinner birthday gifts and a Minnie mouse cake.  Autumn had a blast!

 She loved all of her gifts and has been very good at sharing them all with Russell.

 She did really well at blowing out her candles.

 She is showing off her new Minnie PJs that Grandma Johnson made for her.

 Russell is giving her a last good night birthday hug, it was so powerful it took them to the ground and they rolled around like this for a min or two.

Keeping busy

This was a couple of weeks ago, it snowed and then as it was melting it was perfect for making snowmen. So we made plenty. The 4 of us are the snowmen on the left side of the house and the two on the right are guarding the house.  Chad thought that it was very creepy looking, It was, Ha ha

 Autumn is of course a potty training super hero.

 We have only done two Valentine crafts so far, this is a Valentine lady bug.

Russell skiing

Russell started his ski class yesterday. He caught on quickly and by the end of his class was doing quite well without much assistance. He had a need for speed and kept giggling and saying "I'm so fast!" Even after a few crashes he had a good time. We stayed until closing time and he still wanted to go more. Chad was skiing backwards and filming him at the top of the "bunny hill."

 Chad made the kids this table. They got the chairs from previous holidays from Grandpa Fowers. They went quite well together and the kids insisted on sitting there for every meal today.

 The clouds rolled in a few days ago and we enjoyed a White Christmas.

We took full advantage of the snow and went sledding. It was great. The sun was shining and it was a calm 26 degrees. Couldn't have asked for better.

Uncle David got a GoPro for Christmas and went sledding with us. This is what it looks and sounds like strapped to Russell's head. As you can tell, he had a good time. Make sure your sound is turned up.

Christmas season

Russell is going to take a ski class in January, he is so excited!

 

We ran to Salt Lake and got to go see the lights a couple of weeks ago. It was cold. 

 We had fun with cousin James!

They are still taking flying lessons. And loving every minute!

 
 Today we got lots of snow really fast. We did not play out side too long they did not like the snow hitting them in the face, the wind was blowing pretty hard with the snow.  But it sure was amazing.

A horse and Snow!!

A couple of weeks ago we were able to spend a little time in Kimberly and got to see the horses at Grandma and Papa Johnson's house. Autumn thought that they were pretty amazing, till...

 ...she was climbing the stairs and this one tried to eat her curly golden hair, then she was quite mad at them.

We were playing at Nana and Papa Fowers house and 6 goats wandered into the yard so we had fun feeding them weeds and waiting for them to come get picked up. 

 And we got our first really good snow on Friday we were able to wake up and play!And of course it  must be consumed by all parties.

 Russell told me today that Dad even showed him how to do it right.

 After he had frozen his face with a good amount of snow, he just plopped down and made a mini snow angel.

 And we got a good little snowman made.

 Chad actually had this Saturday off and boy did we have some good cold fun!

 He even was able to get Autumn to go and like it.

 Unfortunately the light post was right in the way, but this was sunset. I thought it looked really neat, zoom in on it.

Halloween

We had a great Halloween night. Fed the kids fast and then put on costumes took a few fast pictures and then we headed off to trunk or treat. The kids had a great time and got too much candy! Russell was so excited he would not hold even semi still for pictures.
