When it is hot

 We made fish one day, they loved it so much they have even stopped the one person that has been over since they made them to look at there hard work.

Since it has been so hot we have spent some good time outside in the pool and the other day the pool was just not as fun as filling the buckets and climbing in. They had a ball!








I asked them to hug each other and they tackled each other.

Zoo and splash pad

We spent most of a week in Boise with Chad and had some fun while we were there. We went to the Zoo when he was working and then on Saturday we went to a splash pad and then we went fishing, We had some wild Fun!

 Russell was out trying to get this bucket of water to dump on him, he finally got it.

 After he got dumped on Autumn came over to laugh at him and watch the water splash down.

Pillar Falls

A couple of weeks ago we went for a hike down to Pillar Falls, we have never been down there with kids. There was so much more water then we have ever seen we were not ready for having to take our shoes and socks off several times. But we had a really great time! 

Frog

I put on the princess and the frog movie so I could get ready for the day, so we decided to do F is for Frog today. They both love their frogs. 

FHE

For Conference Sunday we thought that it would be fun to make some cookies and take them to some of our ward neighbors, so I made a ton of gingerbread missionaries. I thought that the kids would like to decorate them and Russell loved it Autumn just got frustrated. 

Then on Monday night we taught the kids all about putting on the whole armor of God. Russell understands the whole knight in shining armor and the armor protects from the bad things, so he loved this and he had lots of questions and we explained each word. If you look close you can see Chad was shooting him with "the fiery darts of the wicked"  

Easter

We had a great Easter! Saturday we had a good time decorating some eggs, They loved it! 

We waited till after Church when it was nicer to do the egg hunt, and it was beautiful outside. Autumn needed a little help, she wanted to open the eggs and put the candy in her basket and leave the egg on the ground. We got her to just find and put the eggs in her basket. They loved it!

Russell is 4

Russell got a new bike for his Birthday! He was pretty excited and has ridden it around the garage almost every day since.

 He wanted to have a monkey cake, so we went for it! And so he got a jungle birthday party!

 He also said that they monkey had to be eating a banana.

 We played lots of games at his party and one of them had balloons, and this was Russell helping us move them all to the kitchen before the party. There was just under 79 balloons. He was really proud that he was able to hold six at a time.

 We had a monkey pinata, it was wild!

 We also played pin the banana on the monkey. They did a good job.
