Have to brag

We have the funnyest little boy! The other day Russell found a shower cap and I showed him where it goes (on head) and that is where he insisted it stay for quite a long time. He makes us laugh all the time!

I also, for the first time on my own, successfully made french bread that turned out! They may not look beautiful, but hey it worked! Now I have a LOT of french bread!

Talk to Dad

Russell likes to talk to Chad (Dad) on the phone whenever Chad calls I let him say hi to him. So the other day I gave him an old phone that looks a lot like mine and, well you can see for yourself.

Random Fun!

So some good cheap entertainment:

We LOVE to play outside, yesterday I filled this bucket up with water and let Russell at it. He thought that it was great fun! He thought it was funny to try and pick the water up with his little hand and get it out. He was not very successful. He also thought it was cold. But fun.

Give your little musician your kitchen appliances, a spoon, a bowl, or even your pots!

Give your child an oven mitt and he will wear it around the house all day long and let you know that there is something in the oven that he needs to get out.

Russell also got into my muffin mix and made a mess, but he had fun. Chad took this picture, he kept telling me to get out of it.I was trying to keep Russell from making a bigger mess, and trying to get his clothes off.

California Easter!

So we went to California this last weekend and had a blast! We had fun with Great Grandma and Grandpa Woodland, and Russell loved exploring their house and loved the neighbors dog. He even found one of Great Grandpa's old lunch pails, and enjoyed hauling it all over the house.
We got to go to the beach, Russell was not to sure but warmed up to it. He even took off and ended up rolling into the ocean. (we did not have a happy Russell for awhile) He only ate a little sand, and we some how managed to change him 3 different times while we were there.
We spread eggs on the front grass and Russell pointed and went oh oh oh... He finally with some encouragement picked up a couple, but being outside is to fun to care about colored plastic eggs. We even missed the Earthquake, we were in the care on our way home. But Grandma and Grandpa said that they shook in their chairs, when we called them. Over all we had a great trip!
