The Kids!

Autumn finally got to wear the dress that I made her when she was only 3 months old, it was still a bit on the big side, But it was still cute!
He looks nice in my coat don't you think? He said he needed to put it on. Ok.
Yes I know Autumn looks different and funny with flat hair. She absolutely loves the horse!
I took bubble bath pictures, (Russell was not working with me so they are of Autumn) what do you think?

More cold fun

Home made window stick-ums. Russell had fun putting them up.
Just waking up from naps, bed head!
Another snow storm = lots of cold snow eating.
Russell loves to be dragged all over in the sled. We go out and play when Autumn is napping, with a monitor. That way I can actually play with him.

December begins!

We took pictures again before Church this week, I loved this one, Autumn has started to clap even if she hears someone say, Yea. Russell is still our huge smiler!
Santa came to our complex on Friday, and Russell was so excited to go see him it was funny when we got there, he got really SHY, strange for him, but he warmed up. When we were all done we started to put our coats back on and we turned around and he had gone back and was sitting on Santa's lap again. ha ha
Autumn did not mind too much because she did not know who had her, for all she knew it was Russell that she was sitting on.
This was two seconds before she turned, looked at Santa and started to cry.
This was Autumn's first bubble bath, go figure, I put her in and she put them in her mouth. Russell was a good helper, he kept telling her not to put them in her mouth.
We got a book from the library about a book and one day he turned to me and said he wanted to dress up like a duck. I told him that I did not have a duck costume, he kept insisting that we did, so this is what I came up with a old yellow shirt, a scrap piece of black fabric for the tail, and then he told me he wanted to be a white duck, so I threw the wash cloth on top. It worked for him.
I think that Russell was drawing Mickey Mouse, and Autumn always wants to help.
I had just done laundry and it was sitting in the baskets, and I hear Russell saying, "monster put your PJ's on and go to sleep." I turned around and had put my PJ shirt on the monster. Oh well.
Chad has been wanting to perform the Maladjusted Jester from the movie the Court Jester, but has not had the chance. And then our ward decided to do a talent show! He was so excited! I made his costume as best I could from just looking at the movie, in just 3 days. It looked a bit better, Chad actually wore a red shirt, and I made some socks that had flappy things on them, I did not have time to fashion a head piece. But Chad did an amazing job!!!

Snow!!!

A week ago we got our first snow storm, it was lots of fun! We woke up and Russell was ready! He asks almost every day if it is going to snow again, he was quite sad when it all melted.

We got our Christmas tree up, and well the kids love it!

Thanksgiving dinner was fun, I think that Autumn enjoyed it as much as the rest of us did!

Russell was a bit cheese, but enjoyed his meal as well.

TURKEYS!!!

We have been busy having fun with holiday stuff and we still have Christmas coming! I am so excited!
We made this army of turkeys this week and then shared them with some friends. And of course we had to make sure that they were going to taste good!

We went for a hike a weekend or two ago, just a quick short one, and we got this stick and made it a fishing pole, and Russell LOVES it! Chad cut out some cardboard fish and and we put a magnet on the string and paper clips on the fish and then Russell goes for it!
Last week as we were getting ready for church I caught the whole family in the bathroom together!
Autumn was sitting on the floor with her water Russell grabbed his and joined her.
Autumn wants to walk so bad, so she can keep up with her brother, but she has a way to go.
This was the hike that we went on, it was bit of a test run, we did not take the pack for Russell we did have to take some turns with him riding thought. We hiked to this strange field. Trees don't grow there, just a meadow, they mowed a peace sign into it, it was strange.

Dragons Fairies and John Denver

This Halloween Russell was our roaring dragon, Autumn was something with wings and a tutu and a big flower in her hair, and Chad finally got to be John Denver! Chad has been wanting to do this for a long time so he was pretty excited. He got tons of second takes and lots of laughs. Russell loved the wings and tail on his dragon, he did not really love the head because it was just too big and kept falling into his eyes.
Autumn was not in the mood to hold still for pictures, but she was cute!
Here is another shot of John Denver, it was funny the first couple of times Chad put on the hair, Autumn was so scared of him.
Here was a day this month when we were going to a play group Halloween party, so I took a little pumpkin with me, I love it, Russell wore it when he was her age. awww
I have not had a chance to post 8 months so here it is.
This is Mater pumpkin, Russell was so excited and still talks about His Mater Pumpkin, i was impressed he even stuck his hands in the slimy goo, more than once.
